Cvs haul... Yes more diapers!

I had a GREAT haul from CVS today. We have another great diaper deal. I got there at 8:30 (1/2 an hour after opening and the size of diapers that I want were already gone, but I got some smaller ones to use as baby shower gifts, and one pack of size 4 that Jackson will grow into). There were finally some Right Guard deodorants in stock (I have a rain check from several weeks ago). And was able to make money on the travel size clean & clear!

Here is the break down:\

3 Huggies diapers ($8.99) = $26.97
1 6 pack scott paper towels ($4.99)
-$9 (use 3 $3/1 Huggies coupon) (printable no longer available)
-$10 ECB printed with $30 purchase
=$11.96 for all 4 items or $2.99 each ($.08/diaper and $.49/roll of paper towels)

4 Right Guard extremem deoderant (raincheck from several weeks ago) 2/$6 = $12

-$8 ECB printed ($2 ECB for each item)
=$4 MONEY MAKER!

3 Clean & Clear travel size ($1.19) = $3.57
-$6 (CVS email coupon $6/3 clean & clear items (no size specified))
= $2.43 MONEY MAKER!!

Total before coupons = $47.52

CVS Brand Personal Care Items, Spend $20 Get $10 ECB

So this week at CVS, their store brand cosmetics, facial care, hair care, sun care, deodorant, personal cleansing, shaving items and hand or body lotion are all part of a deal where if you spend $10 you get $3 Extracare Bucks or if you spend $20 you get $10 Extracare Bucks. I think this is a pretty good deal if you spend $20 because you are automatically going to get 50% off the already lower price store brand items. And there have actually been a few CVS red coupon machine coupons that will work out really well with this deal:

From last week:
$2 off any $10 CVS Brand Razors, Shave Creams or Depilatories
$2 off $12 Facial Moisturizer, Cleanser or Acne Care purchase
$3 off any $15 Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Treatment or Styling
$1.50 off two Self Tanner or Sun Protection

From this week:
$2 off 2 CVS Brand Body Washes or Bar Soap
$3 off $15 Any Oral Care
$1 off Any CVS Brand Cotton Item or Nail Polish Remover

The expiration date on these will vary depending on when you printed them out. One thing I have learned is that you can log into your CVS account on cvs.com and you will be able to see what Red Coupon Machine coupons you've printed already and which ones are available to you. So you can actually print them from home if you want to. So here is how my deal went today:

Spend $20 CVS Brand Personal Care, Get $10 ECB
CVS Advanced Care Fragrance Free Body Lotion = $4.99
CVS Oil Free Facial Moisturizer = $9.79
CVS Vanilla Body Wash, $2.37 each or 2/$4 = $4.00
CVS Total Moisture Dry Skin Lotion = $1.49
Total = $20.27
- $2 (use 1) $2 off 2 CVS Brand Body Washes or Bar Soap
- $10 ECB for spending $20
= $8.27 for 5 items!

The CVS cotton swabs were not part of the deal but they were free with the $1 off any cotton item sooo I got them.
CVS Cotton Swabs 50 ct (in the travel section) = $.99
-$1 (use 1) $1 off Any CVS Brand Cotton Item or Nail Polish Remover
=FREE!

Total for this trip = $8.27 for six items, less than I would have spent for the face moisturizer alone.

CVS Trip Week of 8/18

Here's a trip I took to CVS on Sunday, taking advantage of some CVS red coupon machine coupons and Extracare Bucks offers. Depending on what coupons you have, you can get some pretty great deals, including a money maker Revlon cosmetic!

Spend $20, Get $5 Extracare Bucks when you buy these items (limit 1 per household):
Charmin Basic, 12 pk or Charmin Ultra Soft, 9 pk $5.44
Bounty Paper Towels, 6 pk $5.99
Select Duracell Batteries $6.99
Gain Dish Liquid or Puffs Facial Tissue $.99

You can obviously work this combination for whatever you need, but here's how I did the deal:
Buy 2 Charmin Basic = $10.88
Buy 1 Bounty Paper Towels = $5.99
Buy 3 Puffs Facial Tissue = $2.97
Total = $19.84 (this is close enough to trigger the $5 ECB)
- .50 (use 2) .25/1 Charmin exp. 8/31 (PG 7/28)
- .25 (use 1) .25/1 Bounty exp. 8/31 (PG 7/28)
- .25 (use 1) .25/3 Puffs singles or (1) 3 pk exp 8/31 (PG 7/28)
- $5 ECB for spending $20
= $13.84 for all 6 items

Get back $3 Extracare Bucks when you purchase 1 (limit 1 per household)

Carefree Liners = $1.67 (I purchased these so I could use my CVS coupon below)
Total = $8.66
- $2 off an $8 purchase of tampons, liners or pads (CVS red coupon machine, printed for me last week)
- $2 (use 1) $2/1 Tampax Pearl or Radiant tampon or Pearl liner exp. 8/31 (PG 7/28)
- .50 (use 1) .50/1 Carefree Liners exp. 8/25 (SS 7/28)
- $3 ECB for tampon purchase
= $1.16 for both items or .58 each!

Select Revlon Lip and Eye Cosmetics, $6.99 on sale
Get back $4 Extracare Bucks wyb 1 (limit 6 per household)
Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stain $6.99
- $3 Any Revlon Purchase (CVS Red Coupon Machine, this printed for me this week)

- $1 (use 1) $1/1 Revlon Color cosmetic exp 9/8 (22 7/28)
- $4 ECB for Revlon purchase
= $1.01 Money Maker with $3 CVS coupon and $2 Revlon Manufacturer coupon! I had the $1/1 coupons and purchased two lip stains, so my total came to .98 for both or .49 each!

My total for 2 Charmins, 1 Bounty, 3 Puffs, 1 Tampax Tampons, 1 Carefree Liners, and 2 Revlon Lip Stains came to $15.98 before tax!

Cheap Diapers at CVS This Week!

We saw almost this exact same deal at CVS a couple weeks back and with a baby due next month, I couldn't help but get more diapers for my stockpile! I will be so sad if I have to pay full price for diapers in the next few months. Depending on what size diaper you get, this deal works out to be about .08 per diaper! That is amazing and definitely stock up price! Here's how the deal works out:

Spend $30 on Select Items Get $10 Extracare Bucks (ECB's) Back
Huggies Jumbo Packs $8.99, on sale
Caress Body Wash $3, on sale
Buy 3 Huggies Jumbo Packs and 1 Caress Body Wash = $29.97 (this will be close enough to the $30 trigger the Extracare Bucks savings)
- (use 1) $.75/1 Caress Product, excludes trial & travel exp. 8/25 (RP 7/28)
- Get back $10 ECB for spending $30
= $10.22 for all four items

Now this Extracare Bucks offer has a limit of two per household, so you can do this deal twice if you have enough coupons. I did this and did two separate transactions with the same items, but this way I could use the $10 ECB from my first transaction to help pay for my second transaction.

Two Body Washes and Two Toothpastes for $.48 at CVS!

Have I ever fully expressed my love for the red CVS coupon machine? I always make sure to visit the coupon machine every time I go to CVS. Even if I was just there yesterday (which I was) and go the next day (which I did) I got more/different coupons! They are great to stack with sales, manufacturer coupons and Extracare Bucks. They helped me walk out of CVS paying $.48 (before tax) for two Dial body washes and two Colgate Total Whitening toothpastes. I actually made a little bit of money on the toothpastes too!

This coupon printed out for me yesterday when I got my nail polish, soda and paper towels. I knew CVS had a pretty good deal on the Dial/Tone bodywash but I didn't have my manufacturer coupon with me. So of course I had to go back today! Here's how this deal works:

Dial and Tone Body Washes 2/$7 on sale plus get back $2 ECB when you buy 2
Buy 2 Dial or Tone Body Washes = $7
- Use $2/2 Dial, regular, for men or kids body wash 6 oz+ exp 8/31 (RP 8/4)
- or Use $2/2 Any Two Tone Body Washes or Bath Bars 18 oz+ exp 8/31 (RP 8/4)
- Use $2 off any two body wash or bar soap (CVS Red Coupon Machine)
- $2 ECB for buying two body washes
= $1 for both or $.50 each!

This coupon actually printed out a couple weeks ago for me but I held onto it just in case. And it expired today! Because of this coupon, I made money on the toothpaste.

Colgate Total Advanced, Total Whitening, Sensitive or Optic White Toothpastes 2/$5.98 on sale plus get back $2 ECB when you buy 2
Buy 2 Colgate Optic White or Total Toothpaste = $5.98
- Use $3/2 Colgate Optic White or Total Toothpaste (CVS Red Coupon Machine)
- $2 ECB for purchasing two
= FREE plus $.52 Money Maker when you buy 2

Total after coupons and ECBs, before tax: $.48 for all four items!

Now, it varies who get what coupons from the coupon machine. I believe there may be one or two that everyone gets (they probably have a limit as to how many will print) but the others probably depend on what you shop for at CVS. Either way, it pays to keep your coupons because they usually last a couple weeks before they expire. Also check the bottom of your receipt, very often you will receive MORE coupons there.

Check out more CVS deals for the week here!

Here is my CVS haul from 8/4/13. Two nail polishes, 3 12 pks of soda and 8 rolls of paper towels for $10.44 before tax! Here's how the deals work:

-$3 ECB for buying one nail polish
= FREE

Sparkle Paper Towels, 8 pk $4.44 on sale
=$3.44 or $.43 per roll

This deal on soda was already really good without any coupons (we just don't see coupons for 12 pks of soda very often) but then I saw these awesome peelies for $1/2 on the 12 pks at my store! Hopefully you will get lucky and find them too, otherwise, the deal is still great without them:

Coca Cola 12 pks 3/$10 on sale plus get back $2 ECB when you buy 3
Buy 3 Coca Cola 12 pks = $10
-(use 1) $1/2 12 oz can 12 pks of any Coca Cola product (peelies found on 12 pks at my store)
-$2 ECB for purchasing 3 12 pks
= $7 for all 3 or $2.33 per 12 pk

Awesome Huggies Diaper Deal at CVS this week!

I needed to share this deal because I love me some cheap diapers. And I want to spread the diaper wealth! This deal works out to about .10 per diaper! I am happy when I can get diapers at .15 each so OF COURSE I went and picked some of these up.

Here's how the deal works at CVS:

Huggies Jumbo Packs on sale for 9.99 each (Buy 3)
-3.00 Huggies Printable Coupon (use 3 coupons, you will need two computers)
-$10 ECB for spending $30 (just about) on Huggies diapers
=$10.97 for all three packages or $3.66 each or .10 per diaper!

Now, if you print out your $3 ECB that came to your e-mail today, this deal works out even better:

Huggies Jumbo Packs on sale for 9.99 each (buy 3)
-3.00 Huggies Printable Coupon (use 3 coupons, you will need two computers)
-$10 ECB for spending $30 (just about) on Huggies diapers
-$3 ECB, free sent to your inbox
=$7.97 for all three packages or $2.66 each or .07 per diaper!

I went to my CVS (on Laguna and Franklin) and they were pretty much completely wiped out of these diapers already! They had size 4, 5 and 6 on the shelf still. Luckily I asked and they had some size 2 in the back but the stocker told me that was the smallest size they had left. So maybe check the other CVS's in the area if you need smaller sizes or most stores get restock on Wednesday/Thursday so you could try later in the week.

Even if you don't take advantage of this deal, I would definitely print out as many of those high value $3 Huggies coupons, we don't usually see them for that much!

Free $3 CVS Extracare Bucks

If you are a CVS extracare member, be sure to check your e-mail for this great extrabucks offer! $3 Extracare bucks to spend on pretty much whatever you want, but it expires on 7/24 so be sure to print it off and use it soon!

CVS Garnier Fructis Haul for .33 per item!

I wanted to get the details of this post up as quickly as possible because today is LAST day to take advantage of this deal at CVS before the new ad comes out tomorrow.

First and foremost, this deal requires a $7 off $35 beauty purchase CVS coupon that I received to my email a few days ago because I am member of CVS's beauty club. If you are not a member, I highly recommend you join because you get awesome coupons like this all the time PLUS you get $5 back for every $50 you spend on skincare, cosmetics and haircare. You can sign up in the store with the cashier or online. It's free and awesome so just do it.

Even if you don't have the $7 off coupon, the deal would still work out to .91 per item with the other coupons and ECB's, so not too shabby.

Anyway, here is how the deal works out:

Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling Products $3.00 (Buy 10)
CVS Facial Cleansing Wipes, 5 ct (found these in the travel section) $1.49 (Buy 1)
Revlon Nail Polish $4.99 (Buy 1)
=$36.48
-$7 off $35 Beauty Purchase
-$1.00/1 Revlon Nail Product (SS 6/23) (use 1)
-$1.00/1 Garnier Fructis Shampoo, Conditioner or Treatment (RP 7/14) (use 10)
or $1.00/1 Garnier Fructis Styling Product (RP 6/2) or (RP 7/14)
-$1.50/1 CVS Facial Cleansing Wipes (from the magic coupon machine)
Get $10 ECB for the Garnier products
Get $3 ECB for the Revlon nail polish
=$3.99 or .33 each for all twelve items!

Now my husband's favorite shampoo is that Garnier Fructis Pure Clean so I cleared out the nine that they had and grabbed 1 more shampoo that will work. You could do this with any combination of Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioner or styling products as they are all on sale for 3/$9 and you get back $5 ECB for every $15 you spend on Garnier products. And I actually wasn't planning on grabbing those face wipes but when I scanned my CVS card at the magic coupon machine, that coupon for $1.50 off one printed out and low and behold, the travel size are only $1.49. I'll take free face wipes any day.
