Signs still read 70% as of this morning but when you price check you will definately find they have been marked down. Everything in this picture was 70%off for food. 90% off for everything else. (I also got a wooden puzzle that Jackson won't let me take back to include in the picture!

Okay so it has been quite a while since I have posted any deals. Though I have slowed down quite a bit in the last few months,  I promise you I have not given up my couponing ways! Many of you have already heard the news that Christmas items at Target have hit the ultimate of discounts at the 90% mark. If you haven't gone to check it out I would hurry! Most stores in our area hit 90% yesterday. While the Christmas aisle's were pretty cleared, Melissa and I did get some good finds in hidden clearance (not marked but when you scan you get the discounted price).

Target clearance finds

There is LOTS on clearance right now at Target. I wish I had more time to look around tonight, but I had my boys and the hubby with me who were tired of shopping! Here are some of the clearance steals we got today.

Target 70% toy clearance mark down

I have confirmed that targets in our area are marking toys down to 70% today. There is a glitch with their system however and their scanners they use to mark them down are not working right now. As of now they are down and don't know when they will have access to them. What that means for us is we just have to wait until their system is up again to get our savings. But the good news is we know it will happen!

Target summer clearance sunscreen!

Head over to Target this morning to get CHEAP CHEAP sunscreen. There are a select few sunscreen double packs that are on clearance for $4.19. They are not marked on the shelf and do not have a red clearance sticker on them, but when you scan them it is confirmed that they are marked down to only $4.19. At my local store on Calvine, the clearanced ones were located in the back where the seasonal summer stuff was. All of the packs marked as $9.79 that I checked were actually $4.19

Target Toy clearance!

Target is in full swing for their annual July toy clearance! Right now there are lots of toys anywhere from 30-50% off. They will usually go as low as 70% off, but by that time there are pretty slim pickings! I usually take advantage of this time to stock up on toys for upcoming birthdays and even for Christmas! I try to make sure I have someone specific in mind for each toy that I buy because it is way to easy to over buy!

I won't share the specific's on my gift purchases today because they will be used for some of you out there! I will tell you though that I purchased:
4 toddler t-shirts
1 pair of toddler shorts
5 separate toys for future gifts.
All of these items were on clearance, and I was even able to apply some Cartwheel offers which saved me even more.
Total original retail price for these items = $166.95
Total price I paid after clearance and Cartwheel offers = $84.47

Not bad if you ask me!
