Toilet Paper Deals

A common request we get at the Nor Cal Coupon Moms facebook group is for toilet paper deals! I, too, have been looking for good deals on TP lately, so I can can ensure my family has a stockpile after this baby comes because there is a good chance that I am NOT going shopping for a while! Here are a couple of great deals that I took advantage of today.

At Walgreens:

Buy 2 packages 12 ct Cottonelle, $5 each = $10

- $2 (use 1, it will work for both packages) $1/1 Cottonelle from Walgreen's August Coupon Book (found when you walk in the store, by the door)

= $8 or $4 each package

Receive a $2 Register Reward when you buy 2, Receive a $3 Register Reward when you buy 3

= $6 or $3 each package when you buy 2 or .25 per double roll

The Register Reward is unadvertised but should run through the end of the month, along with the $5 sale price.

At Foodsco:

Angel Soft 4 ct package, on sale 10 for $10 or $1 each

- .45 (use 1) .45/1 Angel Soft Bathroom Tissue exp. 8/28 (RP 7/28)

= .55 each or .14 per roll

This deal could end today with the new ad coming out tomorrow but this was an unadvertised deal so it could be ongoing. Regardless, the coupon does expire on the 28th.

Foods Co. 6/26/13

This trip is a little different from my previous trips. I found several items in the clearance sections where boxes have been damaged and price reduced. All of these items are still sealed and safe, The outside packaging just doesn't look as pretty. I don't know about you, but The food tastes just as good to me even if the package is torn!

The coupon deals first:

6 Farmer John's Hot Dogs - $.88 each

     (Use 3) Farmer John Hot dogs $1/2 6/16 SS X 8/16

     Total = $5.28 - $3 = $2.28 or $.38 each 

4 bottles of sweet baby rays BBQ sauce - $.98 each (I know I just bought a ton of BBQ sauce at winco, but this is my favorite brand so I couldn't pass up a good deal on it!)

     (Use 2) Sweet baby Rays $1/2 SS 5/19 X 6/30

     Total = $3.92 - $2 = $1.92 or $.48 each

and now my clearance finds: 

Peanut butter captain crunch cereal - $.89

2 cans diced tomatoes - $.29 each

     Total = $.58

4 pack food coloring - $2.39

Reynolds wax paper - $.79

Pickled Jalapeno's - $.49

Pinto Beans - $.89

And finally my last item was not on clearance and I did not have a coupon for it. I have saved lots of money over the past couple of trips though so I deserve it right!?

1 12 pack of Bud lite Straw 'beer' ita's - $9.98 + $.60 CA redeemable value charge

     Total = $10.58

All for under $25!

Here is a preview of my shopping trips today. Pictured here is everything I purchased today for less than $25! We have: 

3 boxes of cereal

6 packages of farmer johns hot dogs

1 bag of Natures valley granola 

4 bottles of sweet baby rays bbq sauce

1 can of pickled jalapenos

2 cans of diced tomatoes

1 can of pinto beans

1 6 oz yoplait yogurt

1 roll of reynolds wax paper

1 4 pack of food coloring

1 pack of Reynolds foil cupcake liners

1 12 pack of bud lite strawberri margarita's

1 lb of broccoli

6 peaches

1 bunch of bananas

1 bunch of green onions

and all of this was purchased for under $25! I would say that is a pretty good deal! Especially with the 12 pack of margarita's! The margarita's were not on sale our coupon, just a treat for myself. If you take those out of the mix my total would be less than $15! This would bring my average price to about $.50 per item!  I will do the break downs for each item later tonight once the boys are in bed.
